Okay, this got more interest than expected! Which is great! I’m really glad to see people excited about this, this is definitely going to be amazing with so many awesome people involved. So in order to avoid the pain and awkwardness of two people applying for the same person, we’re opening reserves!

Here’s the deal with the character reserves: just tell us the character you had your heart set on applying for, and we’ll put them on hold for you! However, we can’t keep them hoarded away forever. If your application isn’t sent in by 11:59 pm EST on Friday, the character will be back up for grabs! Choose wisely, and have fun!

No problo, Rob Lowe! Your enthusiasm is both encouraging and greatly appreciated!

It’s more or less your typical roleplay, we’re not particularly strict on what you can and can’t post! Both paras and non-paras are accepted, the main goal is to just have fun with it.

The basic idea here is that all of the shows take place in the same universe, so characters from different shows can interact with each other if they so choose! I’ll throw out a couple of examples of how we handled crossovers the last time around:

Abed signed up for an internship at TGS
Ann Perkins was friends with Britta Perry in college, and went to Greendale to give a nusing seminar
Ben Wyatt got an accounting job for NBC under Jack Donaghey

The possibilities are limited only by your imagination! Which makes it all the more fun, yes?

We’ll be opening up the application process on Friday, and you’ll be able to find the application here. All you have to do is fill it out with the character you’d like and send it to on over to our submit box, and you’ll be good to go!

Due to the sudden loss of so many of our major characters, we’ve come to the decision to reset the plot of cast of the NBC RP to attract potential new writers for our one year anniversary.

Now, don’t fret! This isn’t as drastic as it seems. The story that we’ve come to love in its current state is going to continue on as an independent RP! We’re not losing anything. People are still welcome to come and join in if they like, even! We want to keep things active. It’s just that things have been so very inactive as of late that we’re retiring it from the official NBC RP blog, and moving on to a different timeline, so to speak!

If anyone has any problems or concerns with this at all, please do let your voice be heard! We want everyone to be just as happy and excited for this reboot as possible. However, the current plan is to reopen this Friday on March 1st!

Now, as current members you guys get first dibs on whatever character you like. Everyone’s more or less up for the taking. Though it’s ideal that everyone stick to one character to start out to insure that any potential writers can take what they want! Let’s not hog all of them, yes?

Again, if anyone has any problems or concerns or questions pertaining to any of this, please let us know! We just want everything to finally be fine.

This month marks the 1 year anniversary of this amazing RP, but we’ve still got a lot or roles left to fill! Now, it may seem daunting joining an RP with so much story already established, but fear not; the amazing Emma can take you through what exactly in the reverse-Porkies is going on!

What’s happening? I’m so lost, this is really weird. What sort of wacky timeline have I stumbled across? Why are Parks characters in this? I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO, MY WHOLE BRAIN IS CRYING!

Well, my rightfully-baffled friend, that’s a long story. Where do we start? For time purposes, we’ll just take it from the Annie of it all.

The story starts in mid Season 3, following canon. Annie lives with Troy and Abed and awaits for the new semester at Greendale to start. Pretty standard stuff!

Don’t worry, it gets better! Right after the start of the school year, Annie and Abed have a little adventure of their own. (x) Think Virtual Systems Analysis, but with cooking, secret agents, and making out.

Feeling taken advantage of, an angry and confused Annie lashes out at Abed and leaves the apartment to stay with Britta until she gets a grip. They bond and stuff. There are kittens. (x)

Speaking of which, did I mention that Britta has a pre-Greendale friend? Ann Perkins from Parks and Recreation makes a stop at Greendale to give a lecture on nursing. The group, excited to meet the lovely nurse, spend the morning getting to know her. Ann immediately hits it off with a certain ex-lawyer, and Annie’s not quite sure how to feel about that. As it turns out, Ann lost her hotel reservation, and in a turn of events Annie offers to make an early move back in with Troy and Abed so that Ann could stay with Britta, as opposed to Jeff (who was more than happy to offer his place. Classic Winger.) (x)

Now that Annie’s back in 303, Abed’s deducted a plan. A plan to fix the tension between them, and restore former balance. They go back to their secret agent personas and have a pretty awesome watergun fight and kill each other. Well, their personas. Now that they don’t exist, it’s almost like it never happened, right? Right? (x)

We’ll get to that later. Now that things between Annie and Abed are finally fine, we get some cute less plot-heavy threads with our favorite study group. (They have an insane animal control adventure via text messaging set after episode 315(x), they go to Comic-Con with Ben and Leslie(x), Annie scolds Abed for talking about Troy’s feelings for Britta over the internet(x), stuff like that.)
Around the end of season 3, Britta decides to move into apartment 303! Shenanigans happen. The opposite of bonding happens. There are drugs. (x)
Get it, because…drugs. Never mind. Did I mention that Jeff got Ann Perkins pregnant???
He moves to Pawnee to stay with Ann over the break. Annie definitely knows how to feel about that. She’s been giving him the cold shoulder, until Oh yeah, then Annie got in a car accident. And what she knows, that you don’t know, is that the drunk driver that crashed into her is probably none other than William Winger!?
Annie recovers well! However, Jeff, worried about the prospect of losing her without reconciling things, urges her to contact him when she’s out of the hospital. It does not go well. (x)
Then we get some comfort threads from Abed(x) and Britta(x). So there’s that! She’ feeling better now, though still a little cold/anxious around Jeff, who just moved back to Greendale for the new semester.
But now everyone’s gotten these mysterious envelopes to go to Greendale… Something’s definitely fishy about all of this. (x) And that’s pretty much it, for now. What’ll happen next? Will Annie come to terms with her situation? Will Jeff prove to be a good father? Will Troy become a radioactive discospider? No, seriously, I don’t know. Stick around and find out, if you’ like!
Oh yeah, and we did a genderbend thing once too. That was pretty awesome. (x)
